The Digital World is Grand

So I'm really digging this iPod I won last week. Now, it is only an iPod Shuffle, but still - free iPod, pretty cool. And before the digital music revolution, in what other context could you be listening to "Bright Lights" by Matchbox 20 and the next song is "Living on a Prayer"???? I'm not sure there is even a radio station that could have that line up. Ah, song switched - I've now got "Right Now" by SR-71. Good stuff.

(In the time it has taken me to figure out what I am going to write next, the song changed again - "Bus Driver" by Caedmon's Call.)

Other than my normal school stuff, I don't have too much going on. Just going through my daily routine. Oh - and there is some bug going around town. In the past 2 weeks, I think almost half (maybe a little more) of my classmates have been or currently are sick. Hopefully it's all the same thing so we all don't get sick twice! So stock up on the Vitamin C because the cold and flu are coming your way.

  • I think you need to send me your ipod shuffle to atone for bailing out on our ski trip.

  • :-) Actually I think the iPod Shuffle's are more expensive than the ski trip (cabin part that is). Anyway, it sucks - I'd love to be out there this weekend because it was my only hope of skiing this season. So, I guess I'll just have to wait til the summer to get on the waterskis and snow skis will have to wait til next year.

(Perhaps I can atone for the ski trip with a lake trip this summer???? I'm a MUCH better waterskier than snow skier.)

  • It's only a little more expensive that the house. Plus I'm claiming emotional damages. And I don't think water skiing is my thing...and we have enough decisions to figure out this summer already.

  • I'm game for a lake trip. I LOVE waterskiing! Let me know.
