Last Week of Classes
Today marked the last week of classes of my first year of graduate school. Needless to say, I'm estatic. However, this week - well last Wednesday to this Wednesday - is probably the busiest I've been for school in quite some time. I'm actually looking forward to finals as I think they will be easier than all of these projects!
If you haven't been keeping up on the continuing saga on my car, let me catch you up. So about a month ago, someone broke my window and stole my stereo. It took a little over a week to get the insurance company to get everything right (which they never really did anyway). So I got the car back just in time for my scheduled business (yeah, that's right - business) trip to Blacksburg. So, the night before I go up there, I get a brand new stereo put in. Skipping all the details, my trip was cancelled at the last minute. So, I did some stuff in Richmond the rest of that week. When I went to go to church that Sunday, my car wouldn't start. So my dad has been trying to troubleshoot the problem at my apartment for the past few weeks to avoid a towing bill and a large repair bill. Well yesterday we finally made some progress and I think we've found the culprit - a faulty Ignition Switch. So, we had to order that part and I hope that I will have my car back sometime this weekend. :-)
And the Countdown to Blacksburg is on. I'm "vacationing" in Blackburg after the semester ends for 2 weeks! I'm pumped. So, at Midnight Tuesday, there are only 11 days left!
