Nearing the End

Tomorrow will be my last day of class! I'm very excited about this if you couldn't already tell. Tomorrow is also our one "casual" day in a year. If you don't know, I have to wear at LEAST business casual to school everyday, so being able to dress casual is going to be nice. I originally vowed to wear shorts even if it was 50 degrees outside. Well, I didn't really think it would be 50 degrees - so I think I'm going to wimp out and wear jeans tomorrow. Bummer.

Tomorrow gets even better because I get to go to a FREE dinner at the Jefferson Hotel to hear the Undersecretary for Veterans Affairs speak. Yeah, yeah - I'm a healthcare dork. But still, free + dinner + Jefferson = not bad.

I am also happy to report that I got my car back last night. Everything seems to be working fine (knocking on wood as I type). I think God may have been teaching me a lesson in being grateful for what you have. I was soooo ready to be done with the neon, but after driving an 85 Grand Am for about a month, I'm embracing the neon all over again. Oh, and that CD player is a big plus too. :-)
