Tax Day!
Don't let the exclamation point in the title fool you - I am NOT excited about this year's tax day. This is the first year that I've had to pay the governments (yes, both the state and the feds). Not only am I having to stoke two checks, but this year's taxes took far too much of my time.
I've always been proud that I could do my own taxes - in reality, mine have been relatively simple for the past few years. I can say this - The 2005 Tax Returns are the last ones that I do on my own. Next year, I'm calling the pros and I have no shame. These tax laws are way to complex. Sure, I could figure it out, but it is not worth my time or brainpower.
On a more positive note, Easter Weekend was nice - despite the fact that I spent about 10 hours working on a paper for my health law class. I cannot express how excited I am that I will be offically done with classes for good in less than three weeks. These last few weeks won't be fun, but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
